I wrote two batch files that 1) Download the latest Antivirus profile from
F-Prot and 2) Scan the server HDD for viruses and write a report to a web
visible text file.

I have them automatically run each night.

No, I don't get "real-time" protection, but I know that my server is scanned
nightly at no cost to my processor's overhead.

I would be happy to provide my simple batch files to the list here if people
are interested.  They were written for the freeware version of F-Prot and
would have to be adjusted for your file locations.

We have Declude AV running with F-Prot... wondering if it protects the file
system  as well as the mail...

does not look like it... should we have another AV running to protect
