We're were running Imail 7.04 (without the security updates). Then we updated to HF1
with no
improvement to the problem below:
PROBLEM: When a virtual domain is created and designated using imail database, it
reverts to the NT
database AFTER it has been created (in spite of
specifying Imail user database at the outset).
But worse still...after you've added aliases to this newly created domain, you are
NOT able to
change the database type for the virtual domain (ie revert back to Imail database).
The net result is NO emails are received for users for that domain. After we
scrutinise everything
and went back to the domain configuration is when we realised what has happened. This
problem has
been duplicated over and over again by our support staff.
The only way to fix this problem is to delete the virtual domain,
re-create it and before adding aliases, etc, change the database type back to
'Imail Database'
Any ideas? (IPSwitch support are 'unable to duplicate the problem' :))
