Virus scanning uses a lot of CPU time; the effect will depend mostly on 
your mail volume.

What else is running on there beside IMail?  30% utilization is usually 
quite high for a server that is just handling E-mail.

If you didn't already have a high CPU usage, I wouldn't see a problem 
scanning that volume of mail.  However, since your CPU usage is already 
high, it's hard to say exactly what kind of performance hit you would see 
with virus scanning added to the duties of the server.  If you want, you 
can E-mail me, and I can get you set up with an evaluation version of 
Declude Virus, to make sure that would meet your needs.
