Sorry about the long subject line. I would like to automate sending a message whenever our users get sent an email with certain forbidden attachments like .v b s and .e x e and others.
I have an IMA rule to look for the presence of the attachments. I then FWD to a mailbox that has a vacation message on it. This message would tell the sender that their message was being rejected because of the attachment and how to get around it by renaming.or whatever. Problem is a lot of people send their favorite Christmas screensaver or whatever to everyone on their address list. Our automatic response generates a lot of pissy emails to us from the senders as to how are they going to know which of their recipients emails were not received. Anyone know of a way to deal with this. Any way of identifying who the recipient is of the mail that being rejected? Thanks!
