Bonno,

Unfortunately, the 12-minute session expiration is hard-wired into IMail,
and cannot be modified. You've got basically two options: train your users
to compose in a new window, leaving the menu page (which automatically
refreshes every 5 minutes or so) open to keep the session fresh, or Two,
get our frame-based Killer templates for IMail (link below) which have a
hidden frame that keeps refreshing the session up until a configurable
session timeout (ours is set to 1 hr).
