O'Reilley books are great and if your are running 2000, their book
"2000 administration in a nutshell" is outstanding... and covers DNS... IIS....
and other such goodies in-depth and understandably...

Instead of a site to "learn the basics" I would
recommend the book "DNS and Bind" by O'Reilley. I personally run Bind for
NT.

We're looking at setting up our own DNS servers
and we're extremely green on the subject. We're looking at Simple DNS
Plus, has anyone an experience using this? Are there other Win2k DNS
server software packages out there? One last thing, anyone know
