<With this config, if [EMAIL PROTECTED] sends a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED], the message gets
sent out of the abc.com mail server, gets delivered to the xyz.com mail server, and
then gets forwarded back to the abc.com mail server for final delivery>

First, configure all clients to use xyz.com as their outgoing smtp server. that should
get rid of the loop problem.

I would also create new accounts on xyz, and forward all [EMAIL PROTECTED] mail to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

later, you can create a virtual abc.com domain on xyz.com, and change the MX DNS for
abc.com, and localy forward mail for [EMAIL PROTECTED] to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Finally, after a few days, shutdown the original abc.com mail server
