This past weekend we were placed on AOLs list of open relay mail
servers. Hence we could no longer send to AOL email addresses. I
increased the security on the iMail server to NO Mail Relay. Everything
is working fine when folks are in the office. However, when they are on
the road dialing into AT&Ts global dialer network or one any other
network they can no longer use or SMTP server. In the past they have
always been able to use our server and AT&T contends, and I believe,
that nothing has changed in their network. AT&T does not used SMTP port
blocking and this is why we chose them because I did not want my road
warriors to have to change SMTP server addresses. I validate this by
returning iMail server to the previous sercurity setting then sending
using our SMTP server. Any clues as to what is going on?
