Has anyone had any luck creating a rule to block subject lines with
non-printed strings in them?

I'm sure most of you have seen the e-mails with no apparent subject line. At
the least, these e-mails are a nuisance. At worst, they can contain either
a virus or a link to one.

I have played with the scripting tool and command line syntax for the rules
with little success. The problem is that the subject line of the message
isn't really blank. They contain strings which are not displayed.

Thanks!

this means you are an "open relay". From your decription, I need to tell
need you that being an open relay is bad.

aka "open relay". It sounds like spamcop has identified you correctly.

set you Imail SMTP security to "no relay" or "relay for addresses" and live
with the consequence of that vs the consequences of being blacklisted by
spamcop and other RBL servers.

spammers will find your server and hijack it.
