Two Steps. Make sure the DNS MX entries for dmp.com point to mail.dmpnet.com. In your IMail config for the dmpnet domain add the host alias dmp.net. That should do it as long as the users exist in the dmpnet domain.

HEADER:
    opcode = QUERY, id = 5728, rcode = NOERROR
    header flags: reply, auth. answer, want recursion, recursion avail.
    questions = 1, answers = 1, auth. records = 0, additional = 1
QUESTIONS:
    dmp.com., type = MX, class = 1
ANSWERS:
->  dmp.com.
    type = MX, class = 1, ttl = 3600, dlen = 16
    preference 5, mail exchanger = mail.dmpnet.com.
ADDITIONAL RECORDS:
->  mail.dmpnet.com.
    type = A, class = 1, ttl = 3600, dlen = 4
    IP address = 209.248.148.3

Looks like the DNS is correct. I would check the Host Alias and make sure the user exists. What errors are you getting if any?

Subject: [IMail Forum] Changing Domain NamesTwo Steps.

Presently our Imail server host is mail.dmpnet.com.  We have an alias that lets us address mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED].  Recently we purchased the domain name dmp.com.  I would like to set up an alias so that any mail sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] ends up in the corresponding [EMAIL PROTECTED] mail box.  Eventually, in a year or so, the dmpnet.com domain will be dropped.

I haven't been able to make an alias that does what I want.  What do  I need to do to get this working?
