I’m seeing this problem also. I ran the registry patch last week which seemed to remedy the problem, but today it came back.

I’m curious as to the location of this .tmp file you are talking about?

We've been seeing this problem quite often too. Does anyone know if Ipswitch is aware of this problem and if they are working on a fix?

 

As far as I know, the only workaround is to stop the web messaging service and delete the .tmp file. Is there a "not so disruptive" workaround?

Our situation with failed attachments (caused by *.TMP files) only got worse after installing 7.05!!!

my web users cannot compose a message with an attachment and send it
successfully.
the attachment remains in the \spool\web directory.
