That would mean that IMail doesn't recognize them as being E-mails awaiting
delivery.
If you have a "D" file with no matching "Q" file, that's an E-mail where
delivery could not be made, and the E-mail also couldn't be returned to the
sender. Since there's nowhere for it to go, IMail keeps it in the spool
(but deletes the "Q" file so it knows not to deliver it).
There shouldn't be a "Q" file without an associated "D" file (as far as I
know). If there is a matching pair of "Q" and "D" files, and they aren't
listed in the View Queue, I would suspect they were corrupted (you can view
them in Notepad to get an idea of whether or not there is a problem).
