We are trying to add McAfee as a second virus scanner (the first is F-Prot) on our IMail server. We purchased and downloaded McAfee from their web site, and tried to install. Unfortunately, it says it won't install on Win2k Server, only on the Pro (desktop) version. We run IMail on a Win2k Advanced Server. Is there a way around this, or did we get the wrong version? What is the right version? Anybody else using McAfee as their scanner? This is a silly obstacle, since we only want the DOS part of the scanner (for Declude).
