Could this be an Outlook Problem?

Outlook sends an attachment called winmail.dat which contains only
formatting information for the rest of the message. Most clients
including Outlook Express do not recognise this additional information.
Outlook Clients must use plain text mail formatting when sending to
other types of client, including Outlook Express.

This is normal behaviour and there are several documents on the
Microsoft Knowledgebase on the subject. See (Q197064)

Hi Folks.

Has anyone experienced this problem?

A user from a virtual domain sends an email with an attachment "
work.doc" , I open his email with Outlook Express, but there is no
attachment. The strange part is that if you open the source code of the
email the attachment is in there with the name winmail.dat .

Has anyone seen this before?

Thank's in advance

Rudy P.
