In "theory" it shouldn't - but to be on the safe side I would unplug the new
server from the network while installing/configuring imail. Just my .02
worth.

Subject: [IMail Forum] quick Imail question

I am moving Imail to a new machine.

I'd like to get it totally set up and ready to go, patches and hotfixes
installed etc, but am not quite ready to point dns to the new server
yet, or copy the registry key.

Is setting this up, but keeping all the imail processes disabled going
to interfere with my current, working installation on the old machine in
any way?

I know, in theory, it shouldn't, but this *is* the real world :)

Thanks,
