New to this list. Hi everyone. Have a bit of a problem which I'd be grateful for any help or advice on.
Have noticed recently a problem on an Imail installation (Imail 7.02 on Windows 2K Server with dual NICs - one disabled with multiple virtual domains) that is 4 months old that recently, attempts to send email to hotmail.com are failing with a series of "MX connect fail" messages in the log. Every now an then, an email gets through. Now when one of these events, occur, I can get through to the hotmail mx server via telnet port 25. There is a knowledge based article about machines with dual NICs where you should change the registry setting for each domain to have the correct IP address but before I try this, can I safety trash the settings for virtual domains ?
