If your going to go to this extent, you should talk to Len about IMGate. It would probably save you on the cost of another IMail license and Len has done some remarkable things with IMGate.
Len, Can you give us a quick comparison of IMGate vs. a frontend IMail server? I know this is a sales opportunity, but please be honest!! :-)) Todd -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Adam (Snowboard) Sent: Friday, February 08, 2002 12:16 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Web Messaging Still crashes 10 to 20 times per day What do you think about this gameplan We setup Imail as an Smtp gateway on another server, This server looks for spam using declude so that all incoming mail from the internet is checked before it actually reaches our main server and then forwards it to our main server if it is allowed. This will hopefully cut down on the smtp processing that our main server has to do. I think we can use declude to do this.
