Drasko, >It is to slooooooow. Deleteing mail and listing sorted mail.
- What kind of sorting? Is this something you're doing in code? - Did you take to heart my suggestion that you use a pure DLL, not a COM object, and a language that actually is built for speed? For the former, try IP*works by /n, www.ipworks.com -- you can call it from VB to begin with. I have a client who uses IP*works in their server app for high-load wireless messaging, so I've seen it work in the enterprise. - I'm not sure what kind of performance you're expecting, how large the mailboxes are, what other tasks the server is performing, how often you're running the task, what kind of box you're running this on, or where you're storing your userbase. You need to give us an idea of your environment and your benchmarks. - Do realize that you will be inflating the load on the server even beyond the load placed by Imail's Web Messaging. Writing your own client in VB and connecting over TCP/IP will *never* be more efficient. (Depending on release schedule and pricing, this newfound Imail API may become an option in the future.)
