Couple items:

With 7.05 Ldapper.exe is broken. It will not load from batch files. Hopefully
someone at Ipswitch is realizing that there are people who use it.

An issue we had when we did the same updgrade is that LDAP use to work with either
'contains' or 'begins with' selected as the search parameter. Once we moved to 7.05
we had to use contains or more specifically a query string such as:

(&(objectclass=*)(cn=*name*)) this represents contains

(&(objectclass=*)(cn=name*)) this represents begins with
(note the missing * before name)

the upper case problem is solved if you can change your query to include
the * in this search. (You will find 'mike' with the contains setting.)

hope this helps... bob
