I'm having a problem with IMail not getting updated DNS entries. I have a particular domain I am trying to send to and I keep getting this error:
02:27 17:31 SMTP-(000000F6) Trying cciaonline.com (0) 02:27 17:31 SMTP-(000000F6) Connect cciaonline.com [216.34.185.81:25] (2) 02:27 17:31 SMTP-(000000F6) 02:27 17:31 SMTP-(000000F6) SMTP_DELIV_FAILED 02:27 17:31 SMTP-(000000F6) >QUIT 02:27 17:31 SMTP-(000000F6) If you pull and NSLOOKUP for the MX record of cciaonline.com you will get: cciaonline.com MX preference = 5, mail exchanger = 66.9.103.242 cciaonline.com nameserver = ns2.ync.net cciaonline.com nameserver = ns1.ync.net ns1.ync.net internet address = 216.34.185.20 ns2.ync.net internet address = 216.34.185.21 Therefore, IMAIL should be trying 66.9.103.242 instead of the 216.34.185.81. My DNS server is running on a Win2K machine and I've flushed the cache. I'm running IMAIL 7.05 (HF2) on a Win NT4 machine. Any clues??? Thanks!
