Hi Sandy,

I assumed that Addlist.exe was some older version of makelist :)

I wouldn't mind some code example for creating listserver if you already
have them, but if you don't, then it is not necessary. I sort of know how
to create registry key, I just need to know the correct subkeys to create:
their names, locations, their respective datatypes and values, etc.

And is that all it takes to create a new listserver on a host? You just
have to create the proper registry key in the correct location (I am
assuming /HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Ipswitch/Imail/Domains/HostName.com/_lists)?
You don't need to create any extra files/folders or modified any other
registry keys/files?

Hi Eric, thanks for the pointer,
but if makelist.exe isn't part of the core product, why is it documented in
Version 6.0 User's Guide
(ftp://ftp.ipswitch.com/ipswitch/manuals/imail6.pdf; Appendix C \ Creating A
User List)?

I can't seem to find any related articles/release notes that mention why
makelist.exe was removed from the installation and documentation of v7.x.
Was there any problem with makelist.exe from v6.x?

Vinny
