What kind of restrictions? How could they access Imail's web mail and
not OWA? You can always change OWA from the default port of 80. Why
bother with imail at all? You will be maintaining 2 servers in the end.
I wouldn't bother with Imail if you've invested in an exchange box...

Subject: [IMail Forum] IMail to Exchange 2000

Hello All,

Anyone here have any experience moving users from Imail to Exchange
2000? We've been using IMail for a couple of years and its worked great.
I've configured an Exchange 2000 server that is working well but now I
need to find a way to get my users from IMail to Exchange. What I was
thinking was doing a store and forward in IMail to the Exchange accounts
(which I setup to be identical to the imail accounts). The user would
login to Exchange to send their emails out and all incoming emails would
go to the Imail server then be forwarded to the Exchange server. Does
this make sense? By the way, the reason I'm thinking store and forward
on IMail is because I've run into problems with some users at certain
client locations that cannot access the OWA using IE because of port
restrictions. This way, they can still see their emails using the IMail
Web Interface and then use Outlook when in the local office. Any
thoughts?
