If you are using NAV CE 7.5+ then the best solution is to install one 
machine as the server.  Then install the client roll-outs from that 
server.  This allows you to manage the client and fully select and exclude 
files and directories.  I run this setup with several companies and it 
works quite well.  The clients are seamless and the users don't even know 
they have AV.  All is managed from the one server.
