Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] IMail Server 7.06 test results by Humankind...

I think this is a more wide spread issue that IPSwitch lets on.

I called tech support this morning because the service keeps crashing and
the support rep told me that my problem was most likely due to the fact

--------------

In our case I run the server at port 8383 and it was still crashing about
every 2 hours. My solution was to go back to version 7.04 which has now been
stable for 21 hours as of writing this. This was after trying one of their
other suggestions to download the full version and install that over the
existing version which produce the same result.

Their suggestion to me was to re-install with the up to date default
templates since I had only replaced the required ones as indicated in the
upgrade readme.txt file. I asked that they guarantee that this will fix the
problem because I did not want to try it as a 'let's see if this fixes it'
experiment. The tech would not answer that question. I am not about to
experiment based on "maybe's" and inconvenience my users any further.

I can see from this and the response to you that they really don't know what
the problem is.
