Wish you the best of luck with this as we have gone through this sort of
thing twice, as well as helping out a couple of clients. If your lucky they
have all been set-up using a standard NIC Handle and a fixed Email address.
We found out after the fact that some of the sales staff/hostmasters had
used a number of different NIC Handles and Email addresses.

We also had several other Domains that had been shut down due to
non-payment or other business issues. On a few of these the domain had
been moved, but the contact and billing information still pointed to us
and/or non-existent Email and physical addresses.

One other thing you should look at is if you are partnered with anyone
else. We got hit for a number of automatic renewals that we knew nothing
about until they showed up on the company's books as unpaid bills. At
least one company had a major investor who liked to speculate on potential
domain names. We have so far found that he had registered almost 100 domain
names that were not documented nor were they ever actually hosted on our
servers.
