I've got the same problem, when somebody enters webmail, the uid gets
corrupted, I don't know what to do. I've installed Imail 7.06 patch, and
deleted all uid files, files gets created and corrupted as people gets in
the machine.

Have you tried renaming the *.UID (index) files? They may be corrupted
and need to be rebuilt.
Alternately, the files may be locked by some other wayward process,
which may necessitate a full server reboot.
