What are you trying to do?
The Return-Path: header is (sometimes) added by the final step, usually the
SMTP server that accepts the mail for the recipient. If you add one,
you're probably doing something you shouldn't be doing. Sending an E-mail
with a Return-Path: header isn't a good idea.
The address that bounce messages will go to is the one that is used in the
"MAIL FROM" command in the SMTP Envelope (which the sending program has
control over). Only if the E-mail has reached its final destination would
the Return-Path: address be used (perhaps if the E-mail went not to the
recipient, but a gateway server to an old non-SMTP mail system), because at
that point, the SMTP Envelope is no longer accessible.
