Sorry this is so long but I want to give as many details as possible.

We have a custom application for broadcast e-mails running on our web
server. It uses an active server page to query our SQL database to
create an AspQMail Mailer object. AspQMail sees that a new message has
been created, and passes it along to the SMTP mail server running IMail
7.06. IMail sees that it has new mail to send, and analyzes the message
and sends it out to the TO, CC, and BCC addresses by doing an SMTP
connection to those domains directly. IMail is configured to relay for
the web servers IP address.

Each message consists of about 300 BCC's and an attachment when
applicable. Simple text messages are working. Messages with attachments
are having difficulties. We're hearing back from the recipients that
they're getting the e-mail message but some do not receive the
attachment. We recently upgraded from IMail 6.06 to the current version
and are now at 7.06 HF2. IMail 6 could handle this, but since we
installed the latest version we're having problems.

We have also manually queried the database for the exact same list of
e-mail addresses and then pasted the results into the Netscape mail
client on a workstation as BCCs, attached the same file and everything
works perfectly. The recipients get the message and the attachment using
this method which has a client contacting the IMail server directly.

We don't seem to be having any trouble when we test the system by
sending to a small test group. Everyone in the test group gets the
attachment. It's the messages to a large number of recipients, over 300,
that are having problems.

We have File Version of 2.3.0.0 and Product Version of 2.0.0.0 of
AspQMail. What tests can we do to help you resolve this problem
quickly? Is there anything in the log files that could help us determine
what is going on? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
