I know that many others besides me have run into problems when clients' dialup or cable service blocks port 25. My clients want to send email through my server, but can't because port 25 is only open to their connecting ISP's mail server.
I have had very good luck using GDataPipe to set an alternate port to forward to 25. The problem is that previously it would not run as a service (without a utility like FireDaemon). However, I just noticed today that their latest version does run now as a service. It can be found at: http://www.gwacc.co.za/software/datapipe/readme.htm Note that the service functionality is considered beta.
