Sure,  broken  MUAs can make bad MIME very easily, and permissive MUAs
can  let  them get away with it. Conversely, it could be using certain
types  of  allowed  (non-broken)  encoding that neither Outlook nor WM
"gets."

Can you include a censored copy of the mail as a textfile?
