Many moons ago we had an Imail server on NT4 with unique IP address for each
domain, later we migrated servers and changed from unique IP to virtual
hosts and have been running this config ever since. Recently, we change
servers (again) and I noticed that for some reason 5 domains still had
references to their old IP address but the new box has only one IP address
for the 300 or so domains. Everthing has worked fine and I've carefully and
gingerly renamed the IP address in the registry to sequential $virtual id
and remapped the domain to the $virtual ID and everything seems fine. What I
do have in the registry under Imail are references to the old IP addresses
which aren't mapped to anything and have random refernces to domains - can I
safely removed these within the registry? Or am I best to leave well alone?

David
