Is it possible that both domains have the same top directory? This would cause them to share user directories and files.

I have 1 virtual domain (domain1) and 1 domain (domain2) with an IP address. If i create a user, david.hayes in both domains and send an e-mail message to <mailto:david.hayes@domain1>david.hayes@domain1 and one to <mailto:david.hayes@domain2>david.hayes@domain2, both messages go to <mailto:david.hayes@domain2>david.hayes@domain2. I'm asuming this happens because the mx for domain1 and domain2 both point to the same IP. Would it be a good idea to point the mx records for all virtual domains to an IP that isn't assigned to any domain?

I hope this doesn't sound like giberish.

David
