this won't work at all.  use one ip, and virtual mail hosts.    use 
domain.com everywhere, do not use mail.domain.com anywhere.

not very much.

Also, over-size disks and multiple partitions to facilitate defragging, and 
dedicated paritions for type of disk activity (system progs, apps, swap, 
mailboxes, mailqueue)
