Hello, yesterday, i tried to use the Imail SMTP server v6.06 in order to send 150 000 + mails
At first, sending mail, processing the queue files, was very slow ... I tried to increase the number of simultaneous processes to 60 (with the correct parameter in the registry), the CPU (bi proc PII 600 Mhz Xeon) was not very loaded, however, the server did not start as many SMTP.exe as it was specified in the registry Another point is that when i deleted the log file, it seemed to go faster Finally, as the number of messages decreased in the queue file, the speed of the sending process increased dramatically Have you got some idea to increase the sending process (the IIS SMTP server, on the same machine sends faster !!) ?
