That's another filtering issue.
For example, if you filter on the word "evil", you will catch E-mail with
the word "devil" and the name "Eviline", too. But, if you filter on "
evil", you will not catch "Evil is a bad thing" on the beginning of a
line. If you filter on "evil ", you won't catch "Wow, that was evil!".
So it really depends on what you are filtering on, and may require a bit of
trial and error as well. We don't do any keyword filtering, but if we did,
we would certainly search through our legitimate mail database to see how
frequently the search term comes up in "good mail".
FYI, there are several times I've had people mad at me for not returning
mail, when in fact they were filtering it. When that happens, I have to
send an extremely short E-mail ("ping, respond please", to which they
respond "What the heck does that mean?", but usually understand the
"respond please" part), and work from there. It isn't fun. And no, I
don't try to use words like "canal", "Mr. Hitchcock", "Chardonnay",
"Assassin", "Click", "Cocktail", "Document", "Analyze", etc. Of course,
the people filtering on such things won't even get this E-mail, so they
won't know there is a problem! <sigh>
