We have scripts posted for our users to use; they'll work for you too -

you can find them at
http://globalweb.net/members/support/email/listserver/listadd-options.asp

you just need to change the mail server name and actual subscribe &
unsubscribe alias names that you set up to perform those 2 tasks...and of
course modofy mail execution to match whatever component you are using (we
use JMail)
