This bug is bothering me because my logs show this error for POP3D and IMAP4 - but I don't have any IMAP users. So the bug may show up from completely unrelated conditions that are mis-logged, or from incomplete logging of real activity. Or something else entirely, but these possibilities make me wonder if there are other, more subtle reasons I shouldn't trust the logs. I also see that I last logged this bug at about the same time I did a comprehensive review of my IMail settings in February.
