That's a common spammer tactic. They have pretended to send the mail from
an account on your server. In the world of spam, it's called a "Joe Job"
(although that term implies that it is being done intentionally, which
doesn't seem to be the case here).

That's because the spammer -- sending mail from another server -- is using
a return address on your domain. You're getting the bounces. There is
nothing you can do without tracking down the spammer and forcing them to
stop through legal means or otherwise. It's happened to us.
Note that what they are doing is the equivalent of sending a letter via
regular mail with someone else's return address. Very easy to do, but only
fools the clueless.

It isn't going through your server. They are sending it through another
server, pretending to have an account on your server. Unfortunately, it's
a common spam tactic.
