Having patching regularly, it seems that the Imail
patches, pretty buggy.
I find that they seem to screw up very simple things, frustrating.
I am vary now of patching as soon as they come out.
3 problems: IMail v7.06
After installing the patches, somewhere along the line, from ver 7.04 - 7.06
Can't remember exactly which patch.
Problem 1
When using the console admin on the server the creation of a new user is fine,
it gives me the correct values. But when creating from the admin page through
eg.
http://10.10.10.20:8181/ the software
now always defaults the new
users information for Max Mailbox Size and Max Num Messages to "0"
(ie. unlimited size)
Set this in the Default for all users in the Domain.
Problem 2
When using the webmail, forwarding an email, forwards
the previous mail. (ie. incorrect email)
On this one just go to
the preferences and make sure you check the Edit message before forwarding box.
This will correct this issue.
Problem 3
Funky when I use IE to admin the server via web, not
that I use it much.
Netscape seems better.
Im sure there are more, just that I have not picked
them up yet.
Has anyone been experiencing the same stuff
