Tom, We are a small ISP. When my boss first bought the ISP, the previous owners had all services running on the same machine (RAS, Web Hosting, Mail, etc). As long as there was sufficient disk space Imail ran flawlessly even under those conditions. I think that was version 5.x. Not until that machine ran out of diskspace did we have problems (what a suprise!--just fyi, the result of no dispspace was empty email messages).
We immediately set about replacing 1 server with about 7. No problem installing Imail on new server and moving users. We honestly did not know if we even had a legal copy of Imail for 3 years. At that time, we were making our second move of mail to a new server. I couldn't find our media. Called Ipswitch ready to buy if necessary, found out we were legal, purchased a support contract, upgraded and migrated. No problems at all, ever! That we managed to go 3 years w/o having need to contact the manufacturer at all and only then contacted them because we didn't have media for a server move says a lot to me.
