Bleah, I just posted the .BAK file to this list by mistake *SIGH*, so much
for trying to be considerate of other people's bandwidth by using a text
editor to remove repeatedly quoted posts before replying.

Scott, have you (or anyone else on this list) personally ever seen the
DIGEST MODE toggle work? Please look again at this example reply sent to
me by IMail:

| You are already on list IMail_Forum in DIGEST MODE!

Once again, THAT IS A LIE, plain and simple.

Going along with your digression (until something better comes by *g*), as
a fellow Eudora user I'm disappointed by your suggestion that "fixing my
email client" will resolve a listserver configuration problem. If you're
reading this posting, it's pretty obvious that IMail accepted it as
originating from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Likewise if I'm reading this posting,
it's extremely obvious that IMail sent it to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (not any other
pseudo-address). So please explain at what stage and for what purpose you
believe IMail is making routing decisions based upon the contents of
"X-Sender:"?

Hi Scott, my frustration has nothing to do with what
*I* tell *my* computer to do...

Maybe the problem is this header in your E-mail:

         X-Sender: [EMAIL PROTECTED]@mail.gchq.co.uk

It looks like you are claiming to be "[EMAIL PROTECTED]@mail.gchq.co.uk",
which isn't subscribed to this list. I would recommend fixing your mail
client.
