I am re-posting this message adding some spaces in the extension's names so it can be received by all list users. I apologize for the inconvenience to those who receive it twice.

PLEASE NOTE THE SPACES!!!!

===================
Hello,

This is my first post to the list and after an extensive search of  the archived messages I did not find a solution to my problem even though I tested every single rule I found.

The thing is, I want to filter file attachments with different extensions. Some extensions filter fine but others do not. In those cases where the file is not filtered, the incoming email message does not contain the actual attached file, but its contents are displayed in the message body as plain text. The extensions that do not filter are: .v bs .b at & .s hs

These are the rules.ima lines I have set up taking in consideration all the information I found about quotations, spaces and so on:

B~name=.*\.(v bs|s hs|s cr|e xe|c om|b at):temp
B~begin 6.*\.(v bs|s hs|s cr|e xe|c om|b at):temp
B~name=(".*\.e xe"|".*\.s cr"|".*\.v bs"|".*\.b at"|".*\.s hs"|".*\.c om"):temp
B~name =(".*\.e xe"|".*\.s cr"|".*\.v bs"|".*\.b at"|".*\.s hs"|".*\.c om"):temp
B~name=(.*\.e xe|.*\.s cr|.*\.v bs|.*\.b at|.*\.s hs|.*\.c om):temp
B~name =(.*\.e xe|.*\.s cr|.*\.v bs|.*\.b at|.*\.s hs|.*\.c om):temp
B~(filename=".*\.v bs"\s|name=".*\.s hs"\s|name=".*\.s cr"\s|name=".*\.b at"\s|name=".*\.e xe"\s|name=".*\.c om"\s):temp
B~(begin 6.*\.v bs\s|begin 6.*\.s hs\s|begin 6.*\.s cr\s|begin 6.*\.b at\s|begin 6.*\.e xe\s|begin 6.*\.c om\s):temp

I would greatly appreciate any help!

Best regards,

Cecilia Martnez
