Hi all... I just subscribed to the list, so please bear with me if this
has already been asked and answered.

I'm trying to move messages around from my ISP straight into Imail so I
can have one place to access my mail. My secondary objective is to have
Declude scan the headers so I can kill all this spam coming in... (I am
totally excited that I see Scott on here .. maybe Scott should be
scared<g>)

I have Exchange Server that I'm also trying to get rid of, but handles
this scenario quite well by allowing you to store your e-mail in one
centralized location on the main server (but it's also a resource hog
with memory and drive space) and also allows you to reply with the same
account that it was received under (hopefully that makes sense)

Here's what I've got done so far...

A VB program using N/Software's POP3 and SMTP OCX's goes out to my
mailbox with the ISP and grabs the mail, it then takes the mail and
writes a D*.smd file and a T*.smd file in the spool directory and then
it renames the T*.smd to Q*.smd when done. I can get the mail to go into
my local storage by going to the web mail interface, looking at the
spool section and clicking "Send All" but it doesn't look like Declude
gets a chance to check the headers. I also have a virtual domain in
IMail that has the same domain name as my ISP's mail account so anything
locally takes place on my machine, but the outside world will still
deliver to my ISP (That all seems to work fine).

Previous things I've tried:

IMAP "Append" command - Works, but the message won't get scanned because
Declude uses SMTP

SMTP to post the message (as suggested by Scott) - Works, but extra
headers are added and I can't seem to get the MIME stuff to translate
over (plain text comes in fine).

So, to sum it up, I'd like to "transfer" my mail from my ISP's account
to my IMail server without any headers being modified, with Declude
scanning the headers and have the mail translated properly.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks,
