I'm having some X-RCPT-TO issues with IMail 7.1. My problem occurs with
users who have one pop3 accout setup with a nobody (catch all) alias. They
are using 3rd party applications to retreive their email with programs like
exchangepop3 and redistrubiting it to their users. The problem occurs with
cc: or bcc: in an email addressed to the same domain. Imail only generates
one email with the first address in the X-RCPT-TO line.
Example: The account fubar.com is setup in IMail with a user called info
([EMAIL PROTECTED]). An alias of nobody is setup to forward all mail to info.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] sends an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and bcc's
[EMAIL PROTECTED] IMail will send one copy of the mail to the info box with
X-RCPT-TO ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), and because of this jane doesn't get her mail.
Is IMail still not handing the X-RCPT-To line properly? Is there any
written law on X-RCPT-TO (RFC) and how it should function?
Korey
