We had a client also requesting this. He eventually accepted just receiving a copy of all incoming mail. If anyone has an idea of capturing all outgoing mail for a given host, please post to this list.
I too thought it was an invasion of privacy, but then again I do not own such-and-such.com's name or data. You may sign a privacy agreement when first hired at a job that would state all e-mail for the company is owned by the company regardless of content.
