I believe that most Windows AV scanners will run fine with Declude, some
better than others. However, when we were looking we reviewed most of the
AV license agreements and had follow-up conversations with many of the AV
reps, and based on that, we went with F-Prot (take that for what it's
worth). I should also add that F-Prot has done a great job for us and
integrates very nicely with Declude--I just wish the update scheduler ran as
a service.

Regards,

Bill

Subject: [IMail Forum] Declude with fprot/mcafee/ or???

hi all Declude and Imail users..
after reading and reading and thinking about what Imail antivirus to buy.. I
finally decided declude after reading lots of experiences in this forum. Now
I cannot deccide what to buy as for the virus scanner.

what do you recommend for Declude..?
f-prot? mcafee?

kaspersky
sophos
Norman Virus Control
or Dr. Solomon?

Just for the record.. I decided decluded because their price business model
is far much better for me than the one showed by Ipswitch.

I hope I don't make a mistake buying Declude... bye
