Did not try telnetting in this abc-clio.com case, but checked MX records and
they were good.

In the past, when dealing with similar cases, I did telnet to the remote
system and everything was OK in telnet session.

The problem is that for some reason the Imail server chokes on some messages
and lets them sit in the queue until they expire.

The text I pasted was a support request from one of my customers. I am the
Senior Exchange Administrator at my company but also have to deal with Imail
support. Sorry for not making it clear.

The DNS servers are the same for all our Imail servers and have no problem
when we check them with NSLOOKUP.

The logs don't really say anything helpful.
