IMail 7 and STMPsvr in IIS 5.0

I made the change to relay the Ip address of our web server's 
I get this message below. I am sending a message to Tampabay.rr.com
why would I have to be a gateway to them when message work from 
outlook on the same Imail server 7.07.

Well, they're not! If your mailserver doesn't relay for the IP address
of  your  webserver, and your webserver's mail sending component can't
use SMTP AUTH, all remote addresses will be rejected.

I  wouldn't say so. Most people solve this by telling their mailserver
to trust their webserver by listing it in 'Relay for Addresses.'

If  Imail  doesn't know about it, it's not "yours," it's just like any
remote address. The human connection isn't going to be helpful.
