FYI & FWIW: I received today an "Urgent Notice of Domain Extension" fax from Domain Support Group, 511 Avenue of the Americas, #60 New York, NY 10011-8436 for one of my domains. The funny thing is that it has the .US TLD instead of .COM which is what we registered. In fact, according to Netsol and GoDaddy, the domain they want me to extend is still available. Their website (www.domainsupportgroup.net) has all kinds of links to ICANN resources which, in my opinion, are just to make themselves look legit (they spelled procedure wrong too). Also, they're not listed as an accredited InterNIC registrar and according to the Better Business Bureau, "This organization has recently come to the Bureau's attention. We are attempting to develop information on the company. At the present time we do not have enough information to issue a report."
I guess Verisign/Netsol isn't the only company trying to pull this crap. (sorry for the length) -b Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
