[IMail Forum] IP address changes

I need some advise.  I currently am running Imail 7.x on a multi-homed Windows NT 4.0 sp6 box, which is a BDC for our NT domain.  The first IF is a single 192 IP address and the second IF has 8 IP’s assigned on the Public net.  Imail is running the primary services (default domain) on one of the public IP’s and also on the private IP.  The other mail domains (eight total) are running on the public IP addresses.  Only the primary default Imail mail domain uses the Windows username/password option to authenticate, all the other domains use Imail user databases.  We are currently running Winroute software as the firewall on this box.   We are switching tonight to a hardware-based firewall with true public/private/and DMZ interfaces.  This new firewall comes with a completely new set of public IP addresses.  I advise on the following issues: I originally set up the domains on separate IP’s so that we could customized the Web interface for each domain, but have since decided that I don’t need that ability.  I would like to have Imail run on one IP address. I had IIS running on this box for a while, but have since migrated our web services to a Linux Box that is now on it’s IP in the new DMZ behind the new firewall.  Since I have deactivated the IIS services, I am less unsure about putting this box on the DMZ, but I would like to maintain the ability to use the users username/password from our Windows NT domain.  Would you recommended keeping the box on the Private LAN and just port forward SMTP/POP/SSL/Etc.?  What security problems will we look forward to? What will I need to do to migrate all the Mail domains over to a virtual IP running on the Private LAN?  Will it screw with my Declude Virus/Junk mail settings?   I will take suggestions from any and all of y’all.  I will be performing this upgrade overnight Monday.   Scott R.
